* 10 small cubes rock sugar
* 10 pieces of small red dates
* 10 pieces of small red dates
* 15 pieces of fresh gingko nut, de-shelled and cleaned

Preparation method
Soak the bird's nest in a bowl of lukewarm clean water. Wait 1 hour. It will expand and soften. Quality bird’s nest has a good ability to absorb water. Normally it will weight more than 6 times of its original weight.
Drain the water from the bowl to remove the visible dirt and the remaining tiny feathers. Do this few times until it is spotlessly clean. Regardless how clean the bird’s nest; there would still be tiny feathers.
